Big heads, big eyes, small nose... you're on the right track. Those are the things that makes stuff look cute. You even avoided using an ugly white background by coloring the background to the color of these characters and makes your stuff far more presentable than otherwise.
The biggest thing that really sticks out to me is the execution for Rarity. I am not sure if this is intentional but her nose is bigger than even show-style. It's much more difficult to make bigger noses look cute, and I feel that her face doesn't have the same appeal as the rest.
Rarity's top section of her mane is also shaped very differently from what it looks like from the show. Hair is something that helps make a character recognizable so that might be something to be aware of. I hear that in the field of character design, keep in mind a character's silhouette. The shape of a character's silhouette helps make a character more memorable (ever confused a voltorb with an electrode?). Compare the silhouette of her mane in both your own drawing and her show-accurate counterpart. Silhouette shapes are pretty different.
Little nitpicky things I can notice are hoof shapes and sizes varying from pony to pony or even within the same pony. Twilight's front and back hooves are differently sized for example. Its a funny observation but not a huge deal for me.
IMO, inconsistencies like the legs I pointed out do kind of show when people like drawing their own style and not bother with anatomy. It really shows when not even their own anatomical style is consistent with itself. Again, for me, its only a medium-sized deal for me with Rarity's nose size and her mane shape (one of my fav characters too!), but little observations like that reveals a bit of sloppiness. Don't overlook anatomy.
Well to start of this is an amazing piece of art,I love how Fluttershy's hooves are squished into her face,it shows so much about her,Also I love how the background is the same coulor as the pony great idea!.All i would say is to smoothen the Unicorns horn thats all though but everything else is great.I also love the colours in there eyes and that you made them all shiny what makes them adorably cute so i would give this 10 out of 10 for a amazing and cute piece of art,you should do alot more these are so cute!
